College and University Faculty Assembly

The College and University Faculty Assembly (CUFA) is the associated group NCSS member teacher educators, researchers, and advocates.CUFA is a space for members to gather and promote current scholarship, converse, and collaborate on issues pertaining to social studies teaching, learning, and teacher education. Anyone interested in impacting the direction of social studies research and practice (in both the P-16 context and informal learning contexts) is welcome to join. Concurrent NCSS membership is required. 

Membership dues are $60 for regular membership and $15 for student membership, in addition to NCSS membership. With your membership, you will receive CUFA's academic journal, Theory and Research in Social Education, four times a year in addition to your NCSS membership level benefits.

Theory & Research in Social Education

Theory & Research in Social Education is the official journal CUFA, and included with CUFA membership.
